TREE PLANTING & RESTORATION Interested in getting your hands dirty to help the environment or hosting conservation projects on your land? Volunteers are invaluable to the success of restoring habitats, protecting water quality, reduce erosion, and improve fish habitat. Since 1955 LSWCD has worked with landowners, farmers, timber producers and rural residents to identify habitat improvement needs and carry out conservation projects on private and public lands. NATIVE PLANT NURSERY CARE IN TILLAMOOK AND BEAVER CREEK Help care for over 60,000 plants at the Northwest Oregon Restoration Partnership (NORP) Native Plant Nursery in Tillamook Bay or with Oregon Department of Parks & Rec in Brian Booth State Park. Plants grown at these locations support the efforts of more than 30 organizations for watershed restoration projects across private, state, and public lands on the Oregon Coast. INVASIVE SPECIES REPORTING & REMOVAL
Protect native habitats on the Oregon Coast and join the Weed Team today! Work with District Staff to attend training, learn about noxious weed identification, understand mapping apps and digital reporting tools, and help Early Detection Rapid Response Programs in Lincoln County.

ANNUAL NATIVE PLANT SALE - FIRST SATURDAY IN DECEMBER Hosted at the Lincoln County Fair Grounds, volunteers are invaluable to the success of this fun community event. Help bring biodiversity, pollinator stewardship, and beautiful native blossoms to Lincoln County! Support is needed to pick plants up at local nurseries, outreach & community flyering, donations of plant material to add to the Sale, event set up & break down, helping fill orders day-of and exchanging payments, and providing gardening advice to the general public. GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE VOLUNTEERING / INTERNSHIPS
Year-round volunteer opportunities in our office include archiving historic documents and photographs of the District's 55 year history in Lincoln County, digitizing population data of native salmon populations to share with researchers, blog post writing and website development, soliciting donations for the Annual Plant Sale, helping coordinate Outreach & Education efforts to support conservation.
