Siletz Basin Focus AREA

Lincoln SWCD selected the Siletz Watershed as its Focus Area in 2017 in order to 1) concentrate conservation efforts on agricultural waters and land, and 2) better document effectiveness of conservation projects. More general information about Focus Areas can be found here.

PRE-ASSESSMENT: Riparian Land use in the Siletz Basin

During 2018-19, Lincoln SWCD conducted a pre-assessment of vegetation and current land use in riparian lands (35 ft from a stream or river channel) in the Siletz Basin, which includes the mainstem Siletz River and its tributaries. Pre-assessment maps are linked by subbasin below:
