why report noxious weeds and invasive species?
LSWCD works to prevent, control, and bring public awareness around species of concern to protect habitat integrity on the Oregon Coast. Check out our Noxious Weed Control and Prevention Program to learn how to identify local noxious weeds and invasive species.
Once a noxious weed or invasive species becomes established, Early Detection and Rapid Response is critical to successful management. As noxious weed and invasive species infestations grow in size, age, and spread, they become more difficult and costly to manage.
