Our Board Meetings take place at least once a month, generally on the second Thursday of each month at our District Office from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
Board meetings cover the general business of Lincoln Soil and Water Conservation District, while also convening to decide the next steps the District will take in overall operations or within specific programs. Occasionally special sessions outside of the above schedule are also called to resolve additional items or unforeseen events.
All meetings are open to the public, with the exception of occasional Executive Sessions.

Notice is hereby given that on November 3, 2020, an election will be held for the purpose of electing board director(s) to the following positions for the Lincoln Soil and Water Conservation District:

EVENT DESCRIPTION: From currants, to roses, azaleas, lupines, and irises, over 50 hard-to-find native species are available at near-wholesale prices through the Lincoln Soil & Water Conservation District’s annual event to be held THIS upcoming Saturday and Sunday December 7th and 8th. Gardening with native plants allows green thumbs to work with species adapted for our region’s unique climate, soils, and wildlife with relatively low water needs beyond initial establishment.
Native plants in home gardening provides countless insects, bees, butterflies, local and migrating birds, amphibians, and small mammals the nectar, seeds, shelter, and habitat structure they need to thrive. Not only does increasing native plant diversity attract wildlife to your green space, but also increases variation in flowering time, color, and structural interest for year round enjoyment.
