Lincoln Soil and Water Conservation District works directly with individual landowners and managers to identify resource challenges, design solutions, and secure financial assistance to implement best management practices to conserve soil and water quality. Taking a landscape approach to solving resource management concerns, District Staff communicates with residents, farmers, and small woodland owners to find management solutions that benefit property owners, natural resources, and good for the citizens of Lincoln County and the State of Oregon.

IN CONDUCTING SITE VISITS AND DESIGNING NATURAL RESOURCE MANAGMENT PROJECTS WITH LANDOWNERS, LSWCD STAFF:
  • Identify solutions to common management challenges utilizing watershed restoration practices to meet Oregon's Conservation Strategy goals
  • Help landowners see and understand water quality impairments, write conservation plans, and develop projects to improve & protect resources
  • Connect landowners to resources, information, and grants to implement projects positively impacting water quality and benefiting wildlife habitat
  • Support landowners in understanding local regulations, regional conservation strategies, and navigate County, State, & Federal programs
